Roy Moore, a prolific composer and orchestral arranger, has contributed his musical talents to nearly 300 television programs, enchanting audiences with his work on beloved BBC comedies such as ‘Allo ‘Allo, You Rang M’Lord, Are You Being Served? Again! (known as Grace & Favour in the UK) Hi-De-Hi, Oh Doctor Beeching. The Brittas Empire, and an array of others. His arrangements are regularly performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra. In recent years he has orchestrated many musicals in Europe. His latest project is Rock Me Amadeus – The Falco Musical in Vienna

About Roy

In 1996 Roy conducted the Royal Variety Performance and in 1998 was musical associate for the Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham. His work for Television and recording includes scores for Barry Manilow, Charlotte Church, Cliff Richard, Andrea Bocelli and Madness.

He has worked extensively in Germany, Austria, Holland and Switzerland where he has orchestrated music for 3 Musketeers, Hans Klok, Holiday On Ice, Der Medicus (co-winner of ‘Deutscher Musical Theater Preis 2016’ for Best musical arrangements), Moeder Ik Wil Bij de Revue, Der Besuch der Alten Dame, Ich War Noch Niemals in New York and I Am From Austria. His work on numerous films includes Lord Of The Rings, the Broadway version of The Pirates of Penzance and Ultimate Avengers.

In New York he orchestrated Don Pasquale for the Public Theatre in Central Park. In the West End he has conducted A Chorus Line, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Danny La Rue Show, Starlight Express, Mardi Gras and many others. As an accompanist he has worked with Mel Tormé, Shirley Bassey, Roy Orbison, Lulu, Leslie Garret, Tom Jones and ‘Dame’ Hilda Bracket.
